About "Alibris" Answer

Has anyone used "alibris" tobuy college textbooks?
I've never heard of them and I don't know if I want to buy from them. Is their shipping really as fast as it says (3 days)? Any other suggestions of where to buy cheaper textbooks, used or new, would be appreciated!
i have used them and they are fine. It is pretty much as fast as they say, maybe it will take 4 days sometimes, but it is good. Usually though I buy from half.com (it is ebays company for books and media). I have also bought from amazon.com used or barnes and noble used. all have turned out fine.
Has anyone ever used thebookstore Alibris?
Im getting ready to buy college textbooks and i just wanted to know if this company was credible before i gave out my credit card info...thanks a bunch!
I used this site about two years ago. I was looking for an out of print book, and they had a great copy available for a reasonable price. I haven't had any unknown charges on my card since, so I think they are a reputable company. Good luck!
Im looking for a book calledthe uninvited 3 the abduction, the only place i can find itis alibris but i?
can't buy it there because i dont have a visa card, just a normal debit card. is there anywhere else i can look on the net for the book?
Three different stores list it at www.abebooks.com but all are in Australia. Still, if you click on the individual bookstore, you may find direct contact information. Then you can email the bookstore and ask if an alternate form of payment--an international mail order coupon, for example-- would be acceptable. Hmm... I checked alibris and those sellers are all UK. You can still click on the store name and do "contact the bookseller" to see about other methods of payment. Good luck!
