About "Colonial Candles" Answer

Do you prefer Yankee Candlesor Colonial Candles?
Im not sure if colonial candles are famous in the US, but if they are whats your best scent.
I live in Germany and at the BX here on base they only have Colonial and Yankee candles. For some reason all the Colonial candles smell bad to me. I only buy the Yankee candles and air fresheners.
What is your favorite ColonialCandle scent?
Im looking to buy one online for my mom but its hard to pick without smelling them. She likes flower and fruit smells more than anything else, but not to sweet of a smell. If you can help that would be great!!
My favorite are Mia Bella's candles. They have a lot of great fruity smells. A couple of my favorites are Japanese Pear and Apricot Freesia. To see a list of all of their scents visit: http://www.bellamiacandle.scen t-team.com
Colonial Candle Making?
Can someone please give me steps on making candles the colonial way. Sites and links would be very helpful! thanks!
Candles would be made from tallow (beef fat) beeswax or was from bayberries. You can use a mold or dip a wick in the wax cooling between layers until you build up a candle of sufficient thickness. http://www.soy-candle-business .com/Colonial-Candle-Making.ht ml http://www.ehow.com/how_234103 7_make-hand-dipped-candles.htm l
