About "Comodo" Answer

How do I stop Comodo Firewallfrom submitting my files tothe internet?
It's so annoying. They're downloading random files, it momentarily breaks my internet connection, and there's no visible way to stop it. Should I just uninstall Comodo?
Well...what is COMODO doing;uploading or downloading? Maybe both? To stop the downloads, open the COMODO interface and open the miscellaneous window. After it's opened, click to open settings. In update, check or uncheck what you want done and then click ok. Then close every thing out. BTW,these "files" may be suspicious and need to be looked at by their security dept. This is what internet security is all about, checking old, present and new threats. These files are not your personal files so don't be concerned. COMODO makes these files about "suspicious threats" (like I said and so on.....).
How do I turn off my Comodofirewall and still block someapplications from accessingthe internet?
Windows Firewall is serving me just fine, I believe. Comodo interferes with some of my programs and I just can't figure it out, so I want to disable the firewall, but still keep some applications from accessing the internet. Is this possible?
Windows firewall is really not a "true" two-way firewall in it's default configuration, although, it certainly is possible to configure it to be if you had the time and "smarts" to do it... I don't !!! Try a really good FREE firewall that was recommended to me by a computer guy that used to work for McAfee a while back... It's called "Outpost" and I'll have to say that after using it for a few weeks now that it seems to really be doing it job very well. I tested it with the leak test and it passed with flying colors...Nothing got through... and it's simple to use... Yeah, I don't like COMODO either... Try here: http://free.agnitum.com/ GOOD LUCK !!!
What do you think of thelatest Comodo internetsecurity?
I've been using Comodo Firewall for over 2 years now and has performed exceptionally well. Lately, i've discovered that my firewall version is outdated (since late 2007). I barely checked for updates, and recently i've found out that they have a new version. A firewall coupled with an antivirus. I'd like to know whether Comodo Internet Security is good or not.
Dont use the Comodo AV just use AVAST,,, Advise: (freeware) 1 Use Avast http://www.avast.com/ 2. Comodo firewall http://www.personalfirewall.co modo.com/ 3. SpywareBlaster http://www.javacoolsoftware.co m/spywareb... Hope this helps...
