Is it possible to change yourmobile number even if yourservice hasnt expired? |
|
I keep getting charges from
Dadamobile for their services
and I never agreed to be
charged $9.99 and I think it
might become a monthly thing.
I got credit for the first
month, but subsequent charges
appear on my bill. Anyone have
experiences or know if its
possible to change your
number? |
 |
You should not have to go to a
new carrier to simply change
your number. They will charge
you a small fee to do this
however.
It sounds like you really need
to contact Dadamobile and
discontinue your account. Try
contacting them to get rid of
that charge. If you really
didn't have an agreement then
there should be no problem. |

Anyone have information on howto contact Dadamobile? |
|
They seem to have cut off
their Customer Service perhaps
because of the complaints they
have. I just noticed that I
get charged $9.99 by this
fradulent company when they
promised me 10 free ringtones
and I am afraid I'll finally
cancelled after 30 days once I
figured out why my bill
payment was so high. I want my
money back from their service,
but they leave hardly any
contact info and when I send
them mail from their contact
page, they dont accept email.
What kind of company is this?
How can I file a complaint
against them?
Yea the middle part was
screwed. It should have read
that I'm afraid I'll get
charged for July, August, and
September because I initially
got charged on July 18 and I
cancelled the 22nd once I
reviewed my bank statement
noting that I got charged $97
by Verizon and that seemed odd
because it should only be in
the $80s.
That would be the 22 of August
that I finally cancelled. |

Hello,
This is coming directly from
their website
(http://us.dadamobile.com) :
"To unsubscribe by SMS, text
STOP to 63232 and your
subscription will be cancelled
immediately.
If you are Cingular text STOP
ALL to 63232 and your
subscription will be cancelled
immediately."
Here is some more detailed
information on how to cancel
service and contact them (from
here:
http://us.dadamobile.com/inc/u
s/terms.html) :
"You can do this by (i)
sending a text message with
the text "END", "STOP",
"QUIT", "CANCEL", UNSUBSCRIBE"
from your registered wireless
or mobile device via SMS to
our short number, 63232 (or
such other short number as we
designate on our Website) or
(ii) call our customer service
representatives at
1-888-214-0381 or (iii) send
us an email at
info@dadamobile.com."
And, by doing a WHOIS search
on the domain I was able to
pull up this info which may or
may not be the owner of that
"company":
Administrative Contact Name:
Paolo Barberis
Administrative Contact
Address: Borgo Albizi 12
Administrative Contact City:
FIRENZE
Administrative Contact Postal
Code: 50122
Administrative Contact
Country: IT
Administrative Contact Email:

Prevention by Whois Source
Administrative Contact Tel:
+39 055 203941
Administrative Contact Fax:
+39 055 2466304
And, by doing a search on the
BBB's website (Better Business
Bureau) I was able to find out
YOU'RE not the only person
who's been burned by this
shady company. Visit this link
to find out more about this
company including their
address and phone number here
in New York:
http://www.newyork.bbb.org/rep
orts/businessreports.aspx?pid=
44&page=1&id=85696
Apparently, their CEO is Max
Pelligrini. See above on how
to reach him and his company.
Your best bet is to also file
a complaint with the BBB, your
phone company, and ultimately
law inforcement if no action
is taken by the "company" to
redeem themselves. Good luck! |

how can i stop dadamobile fromsending me text messages.? |
|
i don't know how they gal my
number.they send me some joke
text i don't appreciate.pls
help if you can.thanks. |
 |
On some of those you can type
stop and then send it to them
and they will stop sending.
You will probably be charged a
fee. I say this because you
activated service somehow
either by looking on their
site and putting in your cell
phone number to get access or
something. I had the same
thing happen with one of those
sites and finally after two
months got them to stop and
refund my money. I never
authorized them to send me
messages or bill me. The thing
is once they get your cell
phone number the charge goes
on your phone bill and you are
stuck unless you cancel. You
might try going to their site
on the internet and finding
the customer service number
and calling...Otherwise you
could be changed monthy for
something you don't want. Fees
can range from $5.99 to $9.98
or more per month... |
