It was written sometime around
1906. It's a metaphorical
story about a girl named
Prunella, who lives with three
aunts named Prim, Prude, and
Privacy, if my memory is
correct! |

I can't say I'm familiar with
it because I've never seen it
performed. However, I do know
that it was written in 1905 by
A.E.Houseman's brother
Laurence in collaboration with
the famous actor-manager
Harley Granville Barker.
Interestingly enough I managed
to find a webpage, for the
Mint Theater Company in New
York, showing an upcoming
benefit being given on June
18th where they will be
performing songs from the
show. I have provided a link
to that announcement for your
information.

warning.
Don't listen to anything from

wind-up merchant who goes by

You can tell as (they) have
all joined in the past week or
so. These supposedly different
people have an odd habit of
asking the same questions over
and over again (along the
lines of 'how many gay or pedo
people have been shot this
week in the decaying mill town
of Gunchester'), and their
only answers are wind-ups
about how much gun crime there
is supposed to be in
Manchester. This individual
also votes his answers as best
answer using a different
profile. It would help if as
many people as possible put
them on their contacts &
report them (him) every time
he answers or asks a question.
He votes for himself using
another name & tries to cheat
his way to best answer. |
