About "Exposures" Answer

How to create long timeexposures on a camera?
I have a Nikon D40, and I want to know how to do long time exposures on it. So could someone explain to me simply how to do it (because I'm only 15) Thank you
Hello! I am 15 and have a D40 *high five* Anyway... On the top right of the camera there is the dial which has all of the different modes. Go to the one that says "S", this is shutter priority mode. On the screen you can see the shutter speed, and simple rotate the command dial to change the shutter speed. Right to make the shutter speed faster, left to make longer exposures. You can do this on any of the manual modes, but with this mode it chooses the Aperture automatically. Hope this helped :D
What photographer is famousfor long exposures?
