Trying to replace theFredericks of Hollywoodfragrance? |
|
Does anyone know if Fredericks
of Hollywood is discontinuing
their fragrance. It is great,
and it is no longer sold in
the Frederick's catalog, or in
the stores. I was looking for
a fragrance that is similar,
something not to sweet but has
a light spice smell to it.
Thanks! |
 |
Yes - it has already been
discontinued on the website
and once it sells out of the
stores, its gone for good. I
spoke to a manager at a local
store and she indicated in a
managers conference call they
had earlier this week, there
was a request for stores to
send it to other stores
because of the demand. Your
best bet is to start calling
stores. I found one that was
willing to take my credit card
number over the phone and ship
it to me. Good Luck!! |

I bought Fredericks ofHollywood corsets online, andim wondering if anyone knowswhat the boneing is? |
|
ok so i bought 'Ultimate Satin
Corset' and 'New Hollywood
WAist Cincher' and i kind of
guessed that they won't be
steel boned, but i was
wondering if anyone knows what
the quality of them are and
how tight you can make them
without looking ridiculous.
They were between 25 and 70 $$
Canadian sooo anyone know/
bought them? |

Fredericks' corset are corset
in name only, they are not a
real corset.
This is not to bag them, they
make some nice clothes. But
the corset range is designed
to look like a corset without
the heavy construction
required to cinch you in like
a real corset. As such I would
suspect that the boning is
plastic and the stitching etc
is designed to fit firmly, not
tightly. This is confirmed by
this quote from there website
"Our corsets are not designed
to train your waist. Initially
pulling too tightly can cause
damage to the grommets in your
corset."

If you want to get the cinched
in effect from a real corset
you will have to pay a lot
more. the price range is $200
and up
Do not over tighten otherwise
you will damage the garment.
Just lace firmly.

How big are the cup sizes onFredericks Of Hollywoodcorsets? |
|
I am a 38D, so I am buying a
"size 38" corset, but I worry
the cup size will be too
small. How do the cup sizes
run in proportion to the band
sizes? |
 |
I have a Fredericks
"Renaissance" corset. I am a
42D. The cup is slightly snug,
not as much as a sports bra.
You should be fine and
supported for typical use.
My husband thinks is is a good
visual appeal.
