Does Guitar center stillhaggle & How do I get a fewbucks knocked off the keyboardof my dreams? |
|
I want a Casio Ctk-4000 piano
keyboard Does guitar center
still haggle. I doubt they do
but how can i get a few
Dollars knocked off ? Does
anybody know where I can get
the same keyboard for cheaper
so i can price match ? |
 |
I don't know what Guitar
Center wants, so I can't
compare.
Usually it easier to get
extras thrown in than to
haggle the price.
Ask for a good stand and a
more professional sustain
pedal.
Good Luck |

How much can I haggle theprice down for this guitar atGuitar Center? |
|
Its an Ibanez Jem7v, which
normally runs $2200, but its
used and selling at $1600. Can
I get them to still lower the
price? I know you can haggle
them at Guitar Center. |

Dude I've been tempted to get
1 of those for awhile.Where 's
the Guitar Center that has
it.Just kidding.
If I were you I would jam on
it for awhile and take a long
look at the frets. If they are
worn(especially unevenly)then
you have a legitimate point to
get as much as $200 off.Next I
would look for paint cracking
at the neck joint,usually
small cracks will get you down
about another $50.Also rotate
each of the knobs slowly and
listen for noise that will get
you down another $50.Then all
the other usual stuff like
neck,action,tuners,tremolo,bod
y dings and scratches,and
missing screws,can get you
down $50-$100.
Guitar Center probably took
the guitar in on trade,but
even if they paid cash for it
they most likely didn't go
more than $600,so I would
start at $1000,and if they
insist on $1600 I would let it
go.Then go back in a couple of
days,and offer $1200,but with
a case.(if it already comes
with a case,then a nice
strap,or something else worth
about $50)I wouldn't pay any
more than that,unless the
guitar god was screaming in my
head that this was the must
have axe.Good luck!!!
Although if you know someone
who will tell you when Guitar
Center has their volume
days(the sales people get
commission,but sometimes the
store wants the sales,so they
give a bonus to the sales
people that have a gross sale
amount over a preset figure)go
in on that day in the
morning,I think you should go
in the morning anyway.Dude
I've talked those guys down
many times you just gotta be
firm and show them you know
what you are talking about
when it comes to guitars,Peace
and Let me know If you got it
for less than $1600. |

What happens if you break aguitar string at guitarcenter? |
|
If your playing a guitar in
guitar-center, and the string
on the guitar breaks, do you
have to follow the old
fashioned policy of "You break
it you buy it" or do they just
say to put it back? I've
always wondered what would
happen, but I don't want to
find out the hard way. |
 |
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!
I know this from experience. I
broke soo many strings at
guitar center from Gibson Les
Pauls to Ibanez RGs and a few
Fender Telecasters. All you
got to do is that when you
break it, just put it back
where you left it. NO ONE
NEEDS TO KNOW! If a guitar
string is brokens, that their
problem. |
