Is ING Direct a good companyto invest with?
I am thinking about opening up both a savings and investment account with ING Direct. Although I already have a retirement account with Fidelity, I am curious if ING has better products/services than Fidelity. Advice anyone? Thanks!

I noticed in personal finance websites that ING direct seems to give a higher interest yields than most banks' savings accounts. You only have to have a checking account with another bank. But most of them are from the US. I want to know if it's possible to open an ING direct account even if you're not from the US. Or if there are similar institutions or services here in the Philippines which will give as much--4.5% per annum. Thanks.

If you have an Ing Direct savings account or know of it, how well does it work. Is it problamatic or is it a good savings account? I'm thinking about opening an account and want to make sure I'm not getting myself into a bad situation. What if I decide to close the account after a few years, how will the money get to me?
I have had ING since 1999. I love it. They have the highest savings rate and they also have checking accounts available now. They are FDIC insured so you don't have to worry about your money. Plus it is easier to save money online because it takes a little longer to withdraw the money for impulse spending.
