how do itrain my dog to beprotectiveof me and my family? |
|
i want answers not suggestions
im going to get a german
sheperd puppie and i want her
to be a good GUARD dog |
 |
Are you wanting a guard dog,
or a watch dog?
If your worried about your
safety invest in a home alarm
system, and some sort of
defense (such as a gun). A dog
should not be used in place of
home security.
A guard dog will never be a
family pet. This dog will need
to be trained by a
professional, and will be
working 24/7. This dog will
only attack on command, and if
you ever give the command
(even for your defense)
there's a high risk of the dog
being put down.
A watch dog on the other hand
is great. This is a dog that
alerts you when something
seems off, and basically looks
big and bad while your real
security system is doing the
work. Any dog can be a watch
dog, all if takes is some love
and care. Just spoil your dog
and love him or her and the
dog will want to watch out for
and protect you and your
family. |

can itrain my cat t open thedoor? |
|
Can i train my cat to open the
door to ge to her dry food
packets or will she vomit? |
 |
With my cats, it really
depends on the door. the ones
with the side handle (like a
toilet) seem to be the
easiest. In fact, sometimes
they dont need to be trained
to do those. The round ones
are a bit trickier. Perhaps
have one of those hanging cat
toys on the door knob to get
your cat interested in it.
Now as for the food situation,
Im not sure I understand, but
depending on your cat, this
could be a bad idea. Some
cats, like people, can monitor
how much food they eat and
others will just eat and eat.
My cat was like this and well,
you run the risk of diabedies
and other problems. Its best
if food is well monitored and
given in measured amounts.
Consistancy is best with
animals.
Hope this helps! |

Has anyone used iTrain.com?Did you like it? |
|
iTrain is a web site where you
can buy excercise routines to
download to your iPod. I want
to try it, but I want to know
if it's lame before I spend my
money |
 |
I haven't used the site, but
with the a La Carte plan you
could try just one or two
little selections at
ninety-nine cents each.
I'm going to do that. It's an
interesting idea and I can use
the motivation. I've got a
teenager who could use some
pushing along as well.
Thanks for posting the
question. I would never have
found this site if you hadn't. |
