Where else except jewelrytelevision can you buycastings for jewelry? |
|
I was wondering if there is
somewhere online or through
mail order that castings can
be bought? No luck searching
the web so far. |
 |
I'm uncertain from your
question if you are looking
for castings or for settings.
If you are looking for
settings for stones--whether
cast, die struck or
fabricated--you can get those
any number of places. I'm
assuming you are an individual
and not a jewelry business.
Rio Grande is a jewelry
supplier that will sell to
individuals--they carry many
settings for stones in rings,
earrings, pendants, bracelets,
etc. Thunderbird supply has
some setting
offerings--particularly in
sterling silver. Jewelz.com
also has settings for sale
along with a variety of
gemstones.
If you are looking for casting
services or a place where you
could choose a wax pattern and
have them cast it in gold or
silver for you, try Wilson's
TCD (waxpatterns.com). They
sell over 10,000 wax patterns
and offer casting services for
them or for one of your own.
If you are uncomfortable with
ordering yourself, you might
try going to a local jeweler.
An individual jeweler--one
with a studio/workshop but not
a store--can provide you with
castings and will not
generally charge as much as
the big jewelry stores. They
also tend to be more
discriminating with what they
will cast and therefore often
provide much better quality
for the price than any of the
TV Jewelry places.
I've listed links below. Good
luck. |

I am looking for feedback onthe company JewelryTelevision. Is it too good tobe true? |
|

 |
I admit, I am 100% addicted to
jewelry. I have bought all of
my jewelry from Jewelry
Television for the last 5
years! I used to buy my
jewelry from the mall chain
stores (Zales, Kay Jewelers,
JB Robinsons, and Fred Meyers,
ect.). I used to spend a
fortune too. My poor Husband
would cringe when he would see
my receipts! I grew so tired
of the mall jewelry stores.
Their selections were sparse
and they never sell large
natural gemstones, only
created ones. Then one day, I
came across Jewelry
Television. I was very weary
of them too, but since they
offered a 30 day money back
guarantee, I thought I'd give
them a try. It was the best
decision I've ever made! My
first purchase was a 14KT WG
6CT Blue Topaz & Diamond Ring
for $99. It also had tiny
diamonds floating around
inside the Blue Topaz. It is
just spectacular! When I
stopped at Zales to see my
friend (He is the manager), he
noticed it right away and
asked me about it. When I told
him I only paid $99 for it he
litteraly gasped. He thought I
was messing with him! Since
then, I have been hooked. Over
the years, I have kept 99% of
what I have purchased. Any
items that I sent back were
only returned because I am
quite picky.
Tip:
If you decide to give them a
try, and would like to buy
something from them, first go
to Yahoo! and search for
"Jewelry Television Coupon".
Almost always you can find a
coupon code for 10% - 20% Off! |
