About "Junonia" Answer

is junonia papillons areputable breeder?? doesanyone know of an actual GOODbreeder?
i WAS in search of a papillon until i came across junonia papillons. i was told by other breeders to be careful when searching for a breeder like, * beware of a breeder who doesn't focus on ONE breed (they breed 2) * make sure they aren't caged (those dogs are stacked on their website) * they should be willing to answer questions about they're dogs (completely rude) * should allow interested buyers to come see the conditions their dogs live in (Absolutely unquestionable!) => has anyone else had problems with these people? or any other breeders? has anyone had success with an actual reputable breeder of papillons? .. what would differentiate these people from puppy-mills? **i even got them off of the papillon club of america..anybody know how else to avoid bad breeders?? thanx for your time guys!! ... i've also been told breeding should be done as a hobby not a career &they clearly state that this is their career & a side job is teaching. (homepage) ..the reason i was drawn to them was because their webpage was so professional &nice looking.. i guess talking to them was a good idea for me.. it was a complete turn off. unfortunate b/c their pups are cute. * they breed english setters as well ** i know there are many breeders everywhere, i originally chose them though because their page looks professional. **i also would like to add that b/c i have cats..unless i declawed them i would have been further considered...why would a breeder want that? the dog still has it's teeth so if it got to that, what would a cat defend itself with?
If you do not feel comfortable with buying a puppy from these people or dealing with them, don't. There are other breeders out there. Maybe attend a show near you and speak with the owner/breeders there. I am sure you will find someone you like. Just keep looking. Good luck.
