What screw size do I need toinstall a license plate on mycar? |
|
My brand new car only has the
female plugs installed for
license plates. Does anyone
have an idea of what size
screw I need to buy? Also, do
I need to buy plastic screws?
Thanks |
 |
Depending on the make of
car.....If it is US it will be
'imperial' thread, probably
3/16" and if it is Jap. it's
probably 5mm.
I wouldn't put plastic screws
in it because after a while
the plates will wear or cut
through the plastic because of
road vibrations etc. |

how would i tie down a queensize mattress and box springto my explorer for a longtrip? |
|
i am going on 20 hr drive from
michigan to virginia, i have a
queen size mattress/boxspring
that i need to move. i was
wondering if its possible to
strap it down to my roof of my
explorer and whats the best
way of doing it? i was
thinking of tying it down
three times sideways thru the
doors and length wise..do u
think it will fly off the
roof? |
 |
You will be fine, just make
sure you get the front of it
tied good. Make sure you wrap
it with a tarp so it dont get
wet |

How do I calculate my brasize? |
|
Can someone please explain the
whole system?
What do the letters mean?
Everything.
I don't know my bra size. For
the past few years I've just
worn whatever sort of fit me.
I have A's and B's and C's inn
my drawer. I don't know which
one I really am. |

Measure under your breasts,
straight across your back (or
have a friend do it). Round up
if it's odd, if it's even take
it as your band size. Measure
the fullest part of your bust.
Subtract your original band
measurement from this. Every
inch of difference generally
indicates a cup size.
It's not the final say on what
your size is, but it is the
first one you should try.
For example: Ribs: 30,
breasts: 33 = try a 30C. You
should also try a 30B, 32B or
32C. Some women find that if
they are sitting directly on
an even number that they have
to move up to the next band
size, hence the 32.
Now the reason you may have so
many different letters is
because the size of the letter
depends on the number. Every
inch of difference is pretty
much a cup size, so 1 inch is
always an A, 2 is always B, 3
is C and so on. But when you
take a 34C instead of 30C,
there will be a big
difference. A 30C might
measure at 30, 33, but a 34C
would be 34, 37. 33 and 37 are
totally different, as are the
30C and 34C.
Bras have sister sizes, that
is different sizes with the
same cup volume. 30C and 34C
are different sizes, but 30C
and 34A are the same cup
volume on two different band
sizes!
When you go up a number, go
down a letter to get the same
size- 30C, 32B, 34A
When you go down a number, go
up a letter for the same size-
34C, 32D, 30DD. They're all
the same size breasts on
different size rib cages. What
determines the size of the
letter is the number, because
it gives you a starting point
to calculate that difference.
One important thing I want to
mention is that many women are
wearing incorrect band sizes,
usually too large because they
aren't aware that smaller
sizes exist. My cousin is 5'3,
170lbs, and she fills a 34 out
properly if it gives you any
indication. Not a small girl!
I'm 5'4 and 97lbs, I wear a
28H, but wore the 36D
equivalent for several years
because the cups fit and no
shops knew what else to hand
me outside of the occasional
34DD/E. I ended up with a lot
of back and shoulder pain,
neck pain, and chronic
migraines, and my boobs never
looked right because they
weren't supported. They almost
looked saggy, and I was 16 at
the time!
I always go on about this, but
I can't stress the importance
of a proper fit enough. Hope
this helps, ask if you have
any more questions or didn't
understand! |
