About "Kosher" Answer

Kosher????
What exactly does it mean when foods are labeled 'kosher'??
It means that food has been prepared according to Jewish dietary laws, meaning the food is ritually correct or pure. Please note that this doesn't always involve a Rabbi - some foods are naturally kosher. For more information: http://www.jewfaq.org/kashrut. htm
How do I become a Kosherpriest so I can bless my ownfood?
As of 01-01-07, I began a strict Kosher only diet and have already lost 5 pounds. I researched how a Kosher priest cuts the fat as he blesses the food. I'm not sure if he is cutting fatty chunks off the meat or removing the fat out of eggs. Regardless how he does it - none of them have capitalized on it. How can I become a Kosher priest so I can become the next fitness billionaire by marketing Kosher recipes? This will definitely be bigger than Dr.Atkins, Jenny Craig and weight watchers put together.
No such thing as a kosher priest.
What is the difference betweenkosher and halal?
In my family (we are Islamic) it is okay for us to eat both kosher and halal. Now i understand that halal is when Allah-tallah's words are read on the animal before it is sacrificed but I also know that the Jews don't believe in Allah... So why is it that its okay for us to eat kosher foods and what makes them so different?
Meat only The slaughtering is the same.. the difference is Jews do not pronounce the name of God on each animal while slaughtering. They feel that uttering the name of God, out of context, is wasteful. Muslims on the other hand pronounce the name of Allah on all animals while slaughtering. Click on the link below about the differences in Kosher and Halal.
