I'm looking for the 1991 Spode
Christmas Tree annual plate
and I found one on ebay listed
as "Lenox Annual Around the
World Christmas Tree Plate".
Anybody know the difference? |

The Lenox Spode Christmas Tree
from china is not a true
evergreen conifer since it is
not a members of the genus
‘Abies’.
It is actually a sub-tropical
plant from eastern Asia and
more along the lines of the
houseplant by the name
‘Norfolk Island Pine’.
Most places around the would
use true evergreen fir trees
at Christmas time such as the
Fraser Fir, Balsam Fir and the
Colorado Blue Spruce...
THIS IS A GARDENING SITE not a
place to find out whether or
not you have crappy china ;-)
Since I made up my answer
about the conifers from China
and I don't know anything
about Lenox China - you might
be better off checking in a
different category.
Hope you find your answer. It
would be a bummer to get
