How to get painted logos offbaby food jar lids? |

I'm doing a big craft project
using baby food jars and I
want them to look uniform and
nice -- which means no baby
food logos on the lids. I was
going to spray paint each lid
but it's just not turning out
the way I'd hoped.
So instead of spray painting,
is there a way I can just
strip the lids to remove the
painted logos? The lids are
metal, so what could I use for
that? I need the most
efficient method to do this
because I have about 100 lids
to strip! Thanks in advance. |

If the painting and the
stripping fails to work
consider covering the lids
with a small bit of fabric.
Cut the squares to just come
down over the lids (so you can
still see what is inside). Use
pinking shears when you cut it
so it looks better.
Then either glue and tie a bit
of thin coordinating ribbon or
just tie the ribbon on around
the lid.
This give them a country feel
and can be a really cute
addition.
If you are obsessive about it
you could cut them into
circles but that would use up
more time than just cutting
them into squares.

How do i get my eye lids lot

I have fair skin and my
eyelids look dark, like a
redish color. How do i make
that disappear?

If you don't want to wear
makeup, try buying some
chamomile tea in bags, brew
two lightly (Say, for only a
minuite), and let them cool
before placing them over your
eyes. Be sure to close your
eyes for this and have plenty
of time to relax. Laying on
your back helps.
A cool damp washrag can help
somewhat as well.
Your eyelids are reddish
because the skin there is
thin, and the blood vessels
show well. The trick is to
cool them a touch so that the
vessels recede from the
surface a bit more.
About the only thing to do
besides that is use a little
concealer the same tone as the
rest of your skin, or a little
bit of pale eyeshadow. |
