People that have bought fishfrom liveaquaria.com? |
|
I only want to hear from ppl
that have purchased fish from
www.liveaquaria.com and how
were the fish when you got
them. Thanks! :)
Thanks for everyone for you
input.....I think I will prob
go ahead and try them out! |
 |
I've personally ordered from
them and their sibling company
drs foster and smith many
times and I've really enjoyed
both! The one time that a
creature didn't do well, they
were great about sending a
replacement at their cost. My
dad has gotten great fish from
them even in the middle of
winter in
Minnesota so their winter
packaging is excellent. I
would definately buy items
from this store over any other
store, online or otherwise
that I've tried. The one
downside is shipping, fair but
still expensive, so its better
to have a larger order before
you buy. |

What are some great fish for a12 gallon tank that areactive+beautiful and arecompatible with 5 neon tetras? |
|
I will also get a betta fish
for this tank. What other
fish?
on a side note, where can you
buy rasboras? You can't buy
them at liveaquaria.com, they
never have the option to add
them to your cart. |
 |
Do not add a betta to this
tank, it will not only throw
your bio-load over, but it
will cause the betta unneeded
stress. Betta's will be nipped
at by fish like your neon
tetras. Tetras are fin
nippers, they are fast
swimming and will quickly kill
off your betta. I do not
suggest any more fish for this
12 gallon tank. 5 neon tetras
is plenty, if you MUST add any
other fish I would suggest a 1
mystery/apple snail. Even
mystery snails produce waste
and require food. You will
need to feed them plant
material or fruits/vegetables.
You must have good filtration
for this tank, good
oxygenation, and a heater as
they are tropicals.
Enjoy the hobby. |

liveaquaria.com? |
|
on the site liveaquaria.com.
how does the shipping work.?
just say i buy 2 fish for
19.99 each.
i think the shipping is like
34.99 or somewhere close to
that.
do i need to play 34.99 for
each fish. or do i just pay
34.99 plus the amount for each
additional pound.
all help is appreciated |
 |
It's a minimum order of
$29.99. Remember that live
rock, sand and plants ship
separately. Also, there is an
additional shipping cost of
$14.99 (I think that's the
cost) if the two fish are
being shipped from different
locations. Here's the shipping
information posted on their
website:
http://www.liveaquaria.com/gen
eral/general.cfm?general_pages
id=28&ref=3319&subref=AE
Also all the shipping charges
should be clearly labeled
BEFORE you hit the "submit"
button on your order. I've
used them in the past and they
are a good company to do
business with. Call them with
your questions. I did and they
were very helpful. |
