Should people who flame otherson this site be afforded theluxury of not having thee-mail link displayed? |
|
If so, why? If they can dish
it out why shouldn't they have
to take it, too? |
 |
As much as I agree with you,
people do have the right to
keep their email address
hidden. |

luxury link travel service? |
|
Hi. Has anyone used
luxurylink.com? I want to take
a vacation and read about this
website. I've been on there a
lot looking at their various
packages, which seem to be all
quite competitively priced.
Or, does anyone have any other
suggestions of who they've
used for travel? I'm thinking
of the Caribbean, Belize (for
diving) or even just a luxury
spa package in the states
somewhere.
Thanks in advance! |

I am not familiar with this
particular website but I
always suggest getting a price
quote from several sources.
Here is an idea to consider;
If you want to stay in the
states & want luxury spa &
accomodations, try Manderin
Oriental in Miami, then head
down to Key Largo ( about 1
hour drive ) for some world
class diving.
Also, Grand Cayman is known
for some fantastic diving
walls, beautiful beaches &
great hotels.
Cozumel has nice, refurbished
hotels & some great diving,
however some of the reefs were
badly damaged by Hurricane
Wilma in 2006.
There are many beautiful
places to dive throughout the
caribbean along with nice
accomodations, it really
depends on your overall
budget.
Hope this helps!

how can i link consumerwelfare and counterfeitedluxury goods? |
|
any answer will be
appreciated. |
 |
I shall assume that consumers
are unaware of the good
counterfeiting and are buying
what they believe to be the
real thing - what you could do
is demonstrate what is called
"Information asymmetry" (you
should look this up
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I
nformation_asymmetry) which
basically is an inbalance in
knowledge power where the
seller has more information
about the good than the buyer.
Another similar example is
someone selling a second hand
motor vehicle.
The result is that the
consumer is likely to have an
untruly high reservation price
at all quantities of the
counterfeited luxury goods,
whilst the counterfeiter has
much lower production costs
(as they ride of the back of
the expensively marketed true
brand) and are often a lower
quality. Draw this scenareo on
your typical S & D diagram.
You should find that the
demand curve (hypothetically)
shifts right from what thier
reservation price would be had
they known the goods where not
fake - or even shifts left
after they find out, depending
on which way you want to look
at it.
You may chose to take it one
step further and look into the
supply side also, comparing
the differences between the
counterfeiter and the true
producer and how this may
contribute to the above.
Hope thats not too long
winded. |
