About "Mr.Beer" Answer

mr. beer?? |
|
has anyone purchsed the mr.
beer, "brew our own beer pack"
can you make some pretty good
beer out of it?? is it pretty
simple?? thanks
can i make a beer that kinda
tastes like coors light or
other light beers?? or does it
only make darker beers? |
 |
First get some taste buds,
coors or coors lite is for
wussies. Second get yourself a
real kit, I was given a mr.
beer kit for christmas and
made a batch, it was allright,
but I went and bought a real
kit and made real beer and my
beers are off the chain! And
seriously, if you like
drinking coors, then don't
ever worry about making your
own beer, all you'll end up
doing is finding out how much
coors tastes like crap.
Wouldn't want to disappoint
you.... |

Why did the batch of Mr. BeerI made seem to have NO ALCOHOLcontent? |
|
I made a batch of what comes
with the Mr. Beer kit (West
Coast Pale Ale) just as
instructed. The beer came out
alright as far as taste, taste
quite good actually, but has
no alcohol content. I drank
(2) 1 liter bottles and did
not get even the slightest
buzz. Are all of Mr. Beer kits
like this or am I missing some
crucial step in the process?
To further my explanation I
should add that I extended the
fermntation time to three
weeks and the the carbonation
time to two (a total of 5
weeks). Maybe the yeast was
dead/bad??? |
 |
I think it could be bad yeast. |

What can I use to substituteMr. Beer Booster? |
|
I lost the booster that comes
with the Mr. Beer Kit and was
wondering what could I use for
a substitute to make a West
Coast Pale Ale. |
 |
use dme or dry malt extract
you can buy it from
homebrewheaven.com just ask
them how much to use for
however much your brewing and
they will help you. your lucky
you lost it because dme makes
a much better beer and a way
better head. |
