How good is New York Pass? |
|
Iam planning to visit New York
for two days. And would like to
cover all the major
attractions.How good is the
New York pass which offers
access to 50 attractions for
$110 (2 Day Pass) ?
Please advice |
 |
It's convenient and worthwhile
if you plan to actually visit
the majority of the
attractions. You can actually
get a 3 day pass right now for
almost the same price as the 2
day pass on the NYC Tourist
Center website... |

Which Attraction Pass is Bestfor New York City? |
|
Do you know anything about the
New York Pass, New York City
Pass or Explorer Pass? I'm
planning a trip to New York
City for June and I wanted to
sightsee with my daughter. We
were going to spend about 3
days, 4 nights. Which looks
like the better value/has the
better attractions. Have you
used any of these passes and
had a good experience?

For example: Which is better
Top of the Rock or Empire
State Building?
Which harbor cruise company is
best?
Which museums offered are the
most rewarding?
Thanks! Appreciate it. |

The Explorer Pass looks better
than NY Pass and City Pass for
sure. I like that Explorer
Pass gives you 30 days to see
attractions (NY Pass gives you
one and City Pass gives you 9)
Also, the City Pass gives you
admission to the Museum of
Natural History but it's
SUGGESTED general admission,
if you want you could just
give like $.50 cents and move
on in, so that's not really a
great deal on the part of city
pass. New York Pass looks like
there are too many attractions
and a one day pass is $65
...you might as well get the
Explorer Pass considering that
it's 3 or 5 attractions is all
you'll probably see over a
weekend in NYC. It's easy to
get distracted along the way
and you think you're going to
do a bunch of things but
really you see a museum, go
shopping and take a harbor
cruise. Know what I mean. Go
with the Explorer Pass Choose
3 if I were you! |

What do you think of New YorkExplorer Pass? |
|
Sorry, this is a repost. I put
it in the wrong forum.
I'm thinking of getting this
pass for my trip to NYC. It
looks fairly new, and I found
a lot of info on city pass and
new york pass on google... but
am leaning toward this one. Do
you think this would be a good
purchase for a first trip to
new york city?

Took a look. Not bad for $109
and 30 days to use it. I would
not use this pass for the
metropolitan museum of art The
admission at the met is a
VOLUNTARY donation, basically
pay what you wish. Lines are
not long there so I see no
need for the VIP entrance.
Enjoy your visit to my city
Since this is new pass, make
sure that it is accepted by
the places you plan on seeing |
