About "NewspaperArchive.com" Answer

Newspaperarchive.com?
If you have used this site, please tell me if you think that you wasted your money buying a membership or if you think it was worth it.
Go to a public library and use Newspaper Index for free.
Looking to access oldnewspaper articles from the40s and 50s.Newspaperarchive.com was a bigflop. Anybody?
Specifically looking for feature articles from the 40s and 50s in the Burlington Free Press, Burlington, Vermont.
It's easier to search for a topic than just one paper. Or if it's just any issues of the paper you mention, then you should contact them directly and see about ordering back copies. They'll probably be printed out from microfiche, but it should look like the paper at least.
Did anyone recently subscibeto newspaperarchive.com?
I just did about 1 hour ago. It showed my monthly membership was complete and everything. It said to print page which I did and then I clicked "begin exploring". Now everytime I login with the username that shows up on my printout (which is the email address I provided) and the password (tried it with/without caps) it doesn't work. What the heck kind of service is that? Sorry didn't know what category to put this in.
Yeah, it's a strange interface. I've never been able to make it work that way. What I have to do is go to my local newspaper's website and navigate to their archives page, which has a link to newspaperarchive.com. The downside is that you can only search through that one local paper and its related publications. It works for my purposes but it can be aggravating not to be able to search papers across the country.
