What is the difference betweenNutrisystem silver plan, regular plan, for men and forwomen? |
|
My grandfather bought
nutrisystem. (two months
worth) and he lost 20 lbs in
one month on it, but what I
want to know is: Will it work
for me? I'm young and female,
but does it matter? |
 |
the silver plan is for old
people, and the regular plan
is for young people... choose
regular plan for women.. |

Has anyone tried Nutrisystem? How does the food taste anddoes it work? |
|
I want to try nutrisystem but,
want some input as to how the
food taste and if you feel
full and satisfied after you
eat. Does it really work? |
 |
Some of the foods taste o.k.
while others taste BAD! That's
probably why people lose
weight on the diet. The
commercial makes it sound as
if you are sent all the food
you need but you have to buy
lots of fruit, veggies and
breads to supplement what they
send you. One of the few
"chocolates" that was included
with the meals was a biscuit,
kind of like Melba toast, that
was tasty but hard as a rock!
Nearly all of the food is
still sitting in my cupboard.
I'm just waiting for their
expiration date to soon expire
so I'll have that as an excuse
to just pitch it! If I had it
to do over, I would have spent
my hard-earned money on
low-cal Lean Cuisines as the
main course and ate 5 to 6
small meals spaced three hours
apart.
Further CONS:
No personal relationship with
a counselor face to face (for
those who need a diet that
holds them accountable)
No support group
Pre-packaged foods, not fresh
( a lot of the containers are
those small, microwavable
styrofoam cups that are 7.5
oz. and the paper cups that
are less than 2 oz.) |

nutrisystem!!!? |
|
I weigh 150 lbs. and I want to
lose about 30 lbs. I am
planning on doing Nutrisystem
and I've heard some good
things about it. Has anyone
tried it? And if so, does it
work!? |
 |
I suppose it's a good idea in
theory, but almost everything
is a good idea in theory. In
order to lose the weight, one
is supposed to eat the
NutriSysytem food. I've seen
some of that food and it
doesn't look healthy. Also,
what does one do when one
stops eating the food? Does
the weight come back?
I've seen the commercials too
many times. (A side effect
from watching too much TV
while pregnant and now, while
breast feeding.) They almost
make it sound as though they
have a corner on knowing what
"good carbs" and "bad carbs"
are and only with their
program one "can" eat things
like carbs and chocolate, etc.
I don't diet. I refuse to
diet. Yet, I eat chocolate and
carbs (whole wheat bread and
fruits and veggies are full of
carbs) and what I want when I
want.
I saw a couple of the
commercials with somebody who
used the program say that they
lost the weight twice while
using NutriSystem. If the
program is so great, why did
the person have to use it
twice?
As I said, I don't diet. I eat
whole, real foods. No meat, no
dairy, no eggs... Nothing with
corn syrup, high fructose corn
syrup, partially hydrogenated
oils, hydrogenated oils, no
fake colorings or flavors,
etc. I eat this way because I
want to. I feel it is better
for me and for the environment
as a whole. I don't feel
deprived.
This is just my two cents. |
