Me and my friends are going tobe oompa loompas forhalloween. Any ideas?

some kind of a glossy jumper of one color, white and black striped sleeves and socks, hair gel to keep hair in that "cone" shape, some kind of body powder for uniform dark skin color. first movie would be easier, green hair, orange face with white eyebrows, white suspenders and pants, brown shirt.
How did they make the OompaLoompas?
In the original Willy Wonka, how did they make those Oompa Loompas?? They are short people and they didn't have video editing like we have today.. Were they all midgets or did they use some other method? Wow, that's a lot of midgets!!!

On Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, whenever the kids did something bad the oompa loompas would come and get them. What did they do to them?
