Restaurant.com certificates,if it requires a $35 minpurchase, and I bought a gcfor $100 am I covered? |
|
So I want to buy a gift
certificate from
restaurant.com but I am a
little confused on the fine
print. It says a minimum $35
food purchase, but I am
planning on going with my
boyfriend and I am sure we
will spend more than that on
food, if I buy the $100 gc,
will I be totally covered and
only expected to pay for the
tip? |
 |
If you are buying a $100 gift
cert, you are probably paying
$50.00 for it (or $40, etc).
If you look at the "fine
print" on that one, chances
are it will say valid with a
minimum purchase of $200.00
You will need to order
appetizers, entrees, desserts,
and a good bottle of wine to
bring your bill up to $200.00
Let's say your total is
$209.95. So you have $100 gift
cert and now you owe $109.95.
You should tip the waiter on
the $209.95, so at least
$31.49 - totalling about
$141.44.
You still saved about $50.00
at least, I get emails all the
time from them, sometimes
giving you 80% off. It's a
good deal but make sure you
understand how much you need
to spend and how much you
should be tipping. |

how do i use the printedcertificate fromRestaurant.com? |
|
I recently heard about
Restaurant.com and they have
$25 certificates for $10 and
I'd really like to try it..so
how does it really work?
you print it, go to the
restaurant eat then pay with
the certificate?
or
you print it, go to the
restaurant give the
certificate then eat?
and who do i give the
certificate to? |
 |
I use them all the time. Read
the fine print to make sure
it's a good deal. Watch for
restrictions. Basically $10.00
for a $25.00 certificate saves
you $15.00. Always tip on the
full and not discount amount.
Their web site has a FAQ
section that answers all
questions.
Yes print the certificate at
home. give to your server when
you order. Your bill will show
the reduced discount amount.
If all this paperwork bothers
you I suggest you check out
Prime Card. If in your area
this is a good way to save
too. There is an annual fee so
before you sign up do the math
to make sure it's worth it |

What are some restaurants thatare on restaurant.com that areclose to Disney World? |
|
Could someone check
www.restaurant.com and see
which restaurants on the list
are close to WDW and easy to
get to? We want to buy coupons
to save money. We're not
eating off-site while we are
at the parks but we will
before and after we go. You
can save 60 percent more by
using the promo code APRIL and
we need to save all the money
we can! |
 |
It may be easier to give you
the zip code so that you can
view the restaurant of your
choice because there are
numerous amounts of
restaurants around the Disney
area.
32819 zip code for Lake Buena
Vista
34746 zip code for the east
part of Kissimmee near Disney
34747 zip code for the west
part of Kissimmee near Disney |
