How does stuffed animalsincrease the chances of suddeninfant death syndrome? |
|
If there are toys in the crib,
on the opposite side of the
crib will that affect the
baby? (the baby wont be
sleeping on the same side as
the stuffed animals are. the
toys will not be near him).
also are bumpers bad to use in
the crib?
burping a baby too hard causes
sid? (something i just read)
is this true? |
 |
Well, if your baby is not
moving around yet, then the
stuffed animals should not be
able to suffocate. however, my
daughter started moving around
very very early, so why risk
it? Sids is not caused from
burping a baby too hard. If
you burp a baby too hard, its
because you're frustrated, and
you shouldnt be near a baby if
you're that frustrated. Good
luck |

Stuffed animals? |
|
Our female sheltiemix loves
her stuffed animals better
than rubber or plastic toys.
However, she tears the
stuffing out of them in no
time. My question is: is there
a stuffed animal (no sqeeky)
that I can get her that she
cant tear apart so easily?? |
 |
I know exactly what you mean
because our shih tzu likes
stuffed animal type toys and
we've gone through a lot of
cheap ones that's she's
destroyed!!!
I recently purchased a toy by
GoDog at Petsmart that is
chew-proof (they have
squeekers in them.. at least
the ones I've purchased). It
is guaranteed not to rip or
tear and if your dog does rip
or tear it (or destroy it),
you can return it to the
company and get a new toy.
I've gotten her several and
these seem to last longer than
any stuff-typed toy I've
bought. She's only managed to
get the ear off of one toy and
that's being boxed up and
mailed back to the company for
a new toy.
I like the fact that they
stand behind their toys and
the company told me they like
for you to send back the toy
so they can examine it and
figure out how to make their
products even better. |

What charity can I donate mystuffed animals to? |
|
I have a whole bunch of almost
new, GREAT condition stuffed
animals. I want to give them
to a charity that gives them
to other needy children, not
sells them (like Goodwill or
Salvation Army). Is there a
charity that passes out used
stuffed animals to needy
children? A tax-deductible
charity would be nice, but any
charity will do. I'm spring
cleaning and I want to find a
good use for my MANY toys.
Thanks! |

A great place to donate your
collection would be to a
battered womens shelter. The
children that are involved
need some type of comfort in
the confusion that ensues in
these matters. |
