Great Indoors or Home ExpoCenter; or how about a smallcontracter? |
|
I want to get my kitchen
redone :
-tiles
-cabinets
-flooring
-countertops
-appliances ( including
exhaust)
-windows (maybe)
- and the powder room
also, our budget is 50 K
do you think it is appropriate
to get it done by the great
indoors, expo or a seperate
contracting unit?
If so, can you tell me your
experiences
and possibly recommend a
contracter in the Central New
Jersey Area? |
 |
I would recommend dealing with
an independant kitchen and
bath dealer. Being one myself,
and having worked for a big
company at one time, I can
tell you that the level of
service that can be provided
by an independant is leaps and
bounds beyond the boxes. Not
to mention that you will
probably find that an
independant dealer has a more
knowledgable staff. I would
also recommend using a dealer
that has their own installers.
Their installers are used to
working with the products, so
they know what to expect and
what is expected of them. Good
Luck. |

Has anyone used The GreatIndoors for kitchenremodeling? |
|
If so, please let me know how
it went. Competitive pricing?
Good customer service? Did
they stick to the time line?
Quality products? etc. Thanks! |
 |
That is a division of sears.
As a contractor i suggest you
use a local professional.
These large companies such as
sears, lowes and home depot
tend to:
A: Be way more expensive.
B: Use the cheapest people to
do the job as fast as they
can.
(this means quality suffers)
C: They use illegal and
non-licensed labor. |
