How to represent snakes and
ladders in a game of snakes
and ladders with a Congress
theme?
I am making a snakes and
ladders themed game to
represent the steps in how a
bill becomes a law. To add
creativity to the project, I
was hoping to change the usual
snakes and ladders into
something more Congress/law
related. All ideas are
appreciated.
Thanks |

Ladders could be giant stacks
of money, while snakes could
be big red downward-pointing
arrows labeled "APPROVAL
RATING". |

What is the phobia name forthe fear of ladders? |
|
I am looking for the name of
the phobia of being on a
ladder or just being scared of
being around a ladder. I DO
NOT want to know what the
phobia of walking under
ladders is, I already know
that. |
 |
I search around and find only
fear of climbing ladders
acrophobia
Excessive fear of heights,
elevators, climbing ladders,
pinnacles, etc.; fear of sharp
points. |

What are some driving tips formultiple ladders on car roof? |
|
Hi - We have a Ford Taurus 99
sedan and our son is using car
for summer job washing
windows. He will be tying two
to three ladders on roof racks
and going from job to job.
Mostly neighbourhood, some
major thoroughfares. There
will be lots of manoeuvering
in driveways and parking lots.
What are some things he should
think about? Sometimes he will
have guys with him who can
help direct, other times he'll
be alone.
Thank you for any pointers! |
 |
1. Check the capacity of the
roof rack. Don't forget that
sharp turns add to the forces
on the roof.
2. Secure extension ladders to
the front and back of the car
as well as to the rack.
3. If any of the ladders
project more than 4 feet
beyond the back of the car, a
red flag tied to the end is
required for daylight driving,
and a red light is required at
night.
4. Tell him to drive
defensively. This applies to
whether he has the ladders on
the car or not.
Hope this helps. |
