North Face fleece burned byaccident, how do i make theburnt part soft? |
|
My son burned his North Face
Fleece by accident, he was
with his friends and they were
playing around with hair spray
and a lighter. The back of the
fleece were it got burnt is
rough,
is there a way to make that
part soft like it was before? |
 |
Well its not like things are
supposed to be perfect all the
time. It just looks lived in
and he has a story to tell
about how he almost became
part of the darwin theory. |

My north face jacket hasbleach stains, how can i fixthis? |
|
My North Face Jacket made of
nylon was recently stained
with bleach which faded color
instantly. It is supposed to
be gray and black but now it
has whitish stains where the
bleach came in contact. Is it
possible to dye it back to
normal or take it somewhere to
repair without replacing the
entire jacket? |
 |
These are not stains, they are
bleached sections. I don't
know of anything that will
restore except maybe permanent
felt marker in black. Maybe a
nylon patch over it? |

Can I wash my north facejacket and fleece? |
|
I have North Face jacket and
fleece and they are both
summit series. I need to know
how to wash them.
Does anybody know? So I do not
have to get my jacket damaged.
Thanks. |

Inside the jacket are
permanent care labels. Follow
the instructions there.
Fleece is hardy stuff... I'm
still wearing a jacket from
the mid 80s. I've had to
replace the zipper and cuffs,
but the rest of the jacket is
fine. It's been machine washed
perhaps 500 times over the
years, plain old powdered (not
liquid) detergent and water,
with jeans.
I don't know what your jacket
is made of, but I'm going to
guess Goretex. Fasten all the
zippers, close all the flaps,
and toss it in the washer,
gentle cycle, powdered
detergent, cool water. Hang
dry.
Or call North Face:1-(866)
715-3223 in the US if you've
cut out the care labels. They
might even send you a new set. |
