Is it legal for my employer torequire me to pay for my timecard and name tag? |

I recently got a job where I
needed to get a time card to
swipe in and out each day, as
well as a name tag, but the
cost of each was deducted from
my pay checks. Is this legal?
The name tag and time card
were both made on site by my
employers in under a minute,
if that makes any difference.
It just doesn't seem right
that they are charging me for
something they make and
require me to have. |

make an hour and where you
are.
deductions that are for the
benefit of the employer or for
the business are legal in many
but not all states and in the
states that allow this the
deduction can not take your
wages below minimum wage for
the week of the deductions.

Totally a user, I used to have
a crush on this guy... I would
do ANYTHING for him, I even
game him my brand new game boy
(really popular back than
hehe) If he needed a ride, id
be there, his buddies did, Id
be there... like anything I
was getting walked all over
because I totally thought we
were going to hook up. Turns
out he used me to get to one
of my friends... totally
played me. Anyway about your
question You were getting
walked over hunn. If you are
still doing things for him and
he doesn't appreciate you or
just doesn't act like your
friend when everything is done
and said you should find some
other friends, ones that
respect you! That's what I
did, The friends that were
trying to tell me that I was
getting walked all over. I got
mad at them because I didn't
want to believe that he would
do that to me, when in real
life they were totally looking
out for me and didn't want me
to get hurt. I hope this helps
you to kind of choose who you
are hanging with. Life is to
short to make someone Else's
life gold while your sitting
on the side lines waiting for
