at Transparent Language...
1. Byki. The purpose of Byki
is to be the fastest and best
means of mastering
useful/important vocabulary
and phrases in the language
you are learning. Research
makes clear that your ability
to use the language and to
learn how the language works
increases as your reservoir of
vocabulary and phrases
increases. So, the more words
and phrases you know well and
can use to understand, speak,
listen, read, write -- the
better you can communicate and
the easier it will be for you
to learn how to properly use
the language (grammar, syntax
and all that.) Language is
more than vocabulary, but
without vocabulary, language
doesn't happen. So build up
you vocabulary and phrases
(what linguists would call
your lexical reservoir or
declarative reservoir) as
quickly and robustly as you
can, and then use your
language any way and any time
you have a chance. We try to
make Byki the most interesting
and effective way to do that,
but use whatever tool or
method works for you. Byki

Has anyone used "transparentlanguage" for Arabic? |

I'm thinking about buying
transparent language for
Arabic but I need to know if
its any good. I do not want to
buy rosetta stone because it
is too expensive.

I was wondering if anyone has
used rosetta stone or
transparent language products.
I was wondering which one was
better and by better i mean
more thorough and easiest to

I have used Rosetta Stone for
Latin. The images were cheesy
and it wasn't very useful. RS
is only good for people who
are COMPLETE BEGINNERS in a
language and need basic vocab
and pronunciation. If you've
advanced past that level, then
RS is not good for you. I have
a feeling Transparent Language
is similar. |
