About "Travelocity" Answer

Travelocity?
We're thinking about booking flights with Travelocity, and they have British Airways flights for much cheaper than other websites, but we're wondering if it's too good to be true. Can we trust Travelocity? Or is it a scam? Thanks!
Travelocity is great. It's one of only a few websites that shows you the actual price; and 95% of the time they are the cheapest too. I book all my flights through them. Other websites will add several hundred dollars in fees after showing you the "great deal". Travelocity doesn't do that. If you have a travelocity site specific to your country (ex. travelocity.ca) , try redoing the search on that site. I've saved money that way too. Also, I'm not sure why this is, sometimes the prices vary by a few hundred dollars day to day. Example: last month I booked a direct flight to Florida from Canada, and checked it several days over a 2 week period. The same flight, with the same airline varied between $400-850. I purchased at $387, and 2 days later it was $10 cheaper. Guess what I'm saying is take your time, get to know the fluctuations, if there are any, and once you purchase, don't look back. Good Luck.
Is there a site other thanTravelocity for last minutevacation packages with twodifferent departure cities?
I have a friend in another city and we like to take spur of the moment vacation packages. Travelocity offers last minute packages that way. However, in recent months they have taken to bait and switch. They post a price per passenger and when you go to book you get messages that the flight is no longer available at that price or the room is no longer available at that price and they post a surcharge to what they advertised.
I use http://www.fybymetravel.co m
Are Expedia and Travelocityreliable for internationaltravel?
I am planning a trip to Europe and it is going to be quite a financial commitment for me--especially since I want to stay in really nice hotels. Has anyone booked 5-star European travel on Expedia or Travelocity? Were your reservations honored? Were the rooms what you expected? I have booked throught both services in the US but not in Europe. I would appreciate any feedback about your experiences. Thank you.
If you really want to book quality, book directly. All you're doing booking through Expedia or Travelocity is adding a middleman. That being said, if you must go with one, go with Travelocity. Expedia has quite a bad reputation among frequent travelers.
