About "Vital Savings by Aetna" Answer

which one is better: aetnavital savings/GE wellnessplan?
I need to get a root canal in my molar tooth and I need to get a good dental plan, ASAP. Which one has more discount, aetna vital savings/GE wellness plan? Both of them said that they'll give about 10-30% discount, but how could I know the exact price before I sign up for them? Any advice? THX I'm in CT.

Aetna Vital Savings or DeltaDental?
I live in Hoboken, NJ. I am looking for basic coverage for me (26) and my husband (44), as well as my father-in-law (67). We need just basic coverage for us and additional services for my father-in-law. We're not really concerned about the out of pocket costs, and would prefer something that offers the easiest plan to use plus access to the most dentists. Which would you recommend and why?
I billed for dental insurance payments for the last 3 years and I can tell you from my experience that Delta dental is accepted most places and if Aetna Vital savings is an HMO don't get it- a PPO insurance is ALWAYS better- you can choose where you want to go and most dentists accept Delta.
Aetna Dental Access vs. VitalSavings by Aetna?
Is there are difference between these two services? I live in Hoboken, NJ and it seems like the dentists that participate in Dental Access also participate in Vital Savings. The cost seems to be about the same. Is there a different in terms of the service or payments? Neither of these are actual insurance.
What you could do is call the company and ask if they are a DHMO or a PPO plan. Usually with DHMO's you pay copays and some dentists are phasing out taking new patients with DHMO's. i.e. with a PPO you don't pay for cleanings, but with DHMO it's a $5 office visit copay. And with fillings with DHMO you pay a set rate, but PPO is a percentage. Its all about finding a dentist taking new patients with the plan.
